Intoxicant

(received an advance copy)

Quite possibly the best erotic novel I’ve ever read. I laughed, I cried, I came… The entire time, I was rooting for the villain to win, because he’s just that, well, intoxicating. Tavik is a perfect angel and can do absolutely nothing wrong. I am utterly obsessed with this character and this book; I finished the entire thing in a single day, all four hundred pages; it’s *THAT* great.

I love it when you make me feel good, D. Dove. But I also love it when you make me feel bad, too. And Tavik? He makes me feel so, so, *so* bad.

Dove does it again! All these books are amazing. I love Daddy Dearest and Family Affair! There definitely needs to be another book in this series. I could totally use more of Tex’s fantasies coming true! Tex had so many somophilia thoughts and never truly acted on most, and I could definitely envision him taking Beck back to the bathrooms to use him there. Definitely need to see what crazy spicy stuff would come up for Fathers Day or even an anniversary of them starting!

So, this has now jumped straight to the top of my list as one of the hottest things I’ve ever read. Well done, D. Dove 🙂 I have to concur with the other reviewer here that I genuinely hope the series continues, or that we at least get something else very similar in nature, because this was just incredible.

Just brilliant. It tickles everything I love in a story. I’ve read through both books and the prequel more than once. It’s only fault is in the series ending.

I hope with all my heart that Dove comes back to this series. The world seems to feel so big and fleshed out even through we don’t see very much of it. Which is a feat in of itself. I can almost see this continuing for another book with Lee and a dozen more with other humans.

Seriously just perfect 👌

Dove has done it again!

Just finished Pistols and Plush Toys and absolutely loved it. This is the only book I’ve read where there is plushophilia and no age play, and it was a unique and refreshing take I appreciated.

As with all of Dove’s characters, I felt for Elliot. He went through so much, and his thoughts/inner dialogue were spot on for a victim of abuse. His and Nikolai’s relationship was so cute, and it was healing to watch them become friends and then lovers, especially after learning Nikolai’s own past trauma. One of my favorite details was how Nikolai’s accent was depicted with his incorrect English; it really showed the attention-to-detail and added to the overall worldbuilding.

The pacing, as with all of Dove’s works, felt natural, deliberate, and well thought-out. This is another one of their books that I would love to purchase as a paperback (hint hint), I’m excited to see what Dove publishes in the future.
